The Fischer H245R sharpening steel is a honing tool designed to maintain the sharpness of knives in professional and home kitchens. Manufactured from special high-carbon steel alloyed with chromium, manganese, and silicon, this product allows you to sharpen your knives precisely without scratching them. Its plastic handle, ergonomically designed for both right and left-handed users, features a special hand guard for safe use.

During the use of the sharpening steel, the knife's cutting edge should be held at a 15°-20° angle to the steel and drawn from the base to the tip without applying pressure. When the knife's edge thickness increases significantly, it is recommended to thin it to between 0.4 and 0.6 mm. Overheating should be avoided during sharpening, and burrs formed at the end of the process should be carefully cleaned. Additionally, for long-lasting use of the product, it is recommended to avoid prolonged contact with substances that may cause corrosion, such as saltwater.
