The Fischer sharpening steel is specially designed to maintain the sharpness of knives and perform sharpening operations safely in professional kitchens. Made from high-carbon steel alloyed with chromium, manganese, and silicon, this product offers high resistance to corrosion. It ensures a safe working environment thanks to its ergonomic plastic handle design suitable for both hands and its special hand guard.

During the sharpening process, the cutting edge of the knife should be held at an angle between 15 and 20 degrees to the sharpening steel and drawn from base to tip without applying excessive pressure. To protect the structure of the knife and prevent dulling, avoid overheating and carefully clean any burrs formed after the process. It is recommended not to expose knives to substances that may cause high corrosion, such as salt water, for long periods.
